Respecting copyright
Y2Mate respects the rights of copyright owners. A copyright owner or an authorized representative may report material, a link or an activity involving this website that they believe infringes their rights.
Please provide a specific, accurate explanation of your concern and enough information to identify the affected work and the activity you are reporting. This helps us understand what you are asking us to review.
What you can report to Y2Mate
Identify the Y2Mate page, link or download activity involved in your concern. If the issue appears after entering a video link, include that source link, the relevant Y2Mate page and the steps needed to locate the reported activity. A video ID, the selected download option and a screenshot may also help explain the issue.
Y2Mate cannot directly remove original videos from YouTube or material from other independently operated platforms. Reports about the original upload should also be directed to the platform hosting it. Any action we can take is limited to content, links or access within our control.
Information to include in your report
Please include the following information in your email:
- Your name, the name of the copyright owner, and whether you are the owner or an authorized representative. If acting for someone else, explain your authority to do so.
- A working reply email address and any other contact details reasonably needed to follow up on your report.
- A description of the copyrighted work and a link to the original or another source that identifies it. For several works, provide a clear list.
- The specific allegedly infringing link or activity, including the relevant Y2Mate URL, source video URL and enough detail to locate it. Explain how it relates to the copyrighted work.
- Your reasons for believing the reported use is unauthorized, taking account of any relevant permissions, licenses or exceptions.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the reported use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner. If submitting a notice under applicable U.S. law, include the required statement under penalty of perjury concerning your authority.
- Your physical or electronic signature, such as your full legal name typed at the end of the report.
U.S. Copyright Office: Section 512 notice information
This checklist draws on the notice elements described by the U.S. Copyright Office. It does not represent a claim that Y2Mate has a registered DMCA agent or qualifies for any statutory safe harbor.

Review and additional information
We will review the information received and may ask you to clarify your authority, identify the work more precisely or provide details needed to locate the reported material or activity. An incomplete or unclear report may need further information before it can be assessed.
Depending on the information provided and the circumstances, we may take action concerning content, links or access within our control. A report does not automatically establish infringement or guarantee removal, and this page does not promise a fixed response or resolution time.
Please make reports in good faith. Do not knowingly provide false or misleading information about ownership, authorization or the activity being reported.
Source platforms and follow-up
If your concern is about a video uploaded to YouTube, use YouTube’s own copyright removal process for that original upload. Contacting Y2Mate does not submit a report to YouTube or another source platform.
